We stayed at the Mill Pub for a couple of nights. This is a lovely local pub in an excellent location right in the heart of Bedford. The staff were so welcoming, especially Mary who really looked after us and went above and beyond! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Bedford.
Lovely place to stay, reminds me of the local pub, would highly recommend even if it's a short or long stay. Lovely building too nice to see something to keep it's history.
Price-for-value, this place is fantastic. Location is fantastic for a couple days (was here for business). Slept in worse hostels for more money. I at least get my own room that is clean and tidy. Props to the owners
Fantastic bed...very comfy, rooms are small, bathroom/toilets are down the hall....lovely bar area, one downside if staying at the weekends...lots of early hours noise, drunken fights from other pubs falling out onto the street...witnessed riot vans and drunken arguments....as long as you don't mind being woken up between 2am-4.30am all is good... Overall a lovely place to stay
Nice location, 5mins walk to center of Bedford. quick and easy to book. Had no issues with me changing date for work. Rooms maybe not upto everyone's standards but it's getting 5 stars from me as its quiet at night
Old School pub, where the landlord knows your name. We've been popping in since the 80's. Full or regular faces and a go to pub for over 30's who want a decent pint with your mates and a welcoming word with the staff.
The Mill hotel is a lovely little pub, easy travel to and from, parking near and disabled parking also. The pub itself is busy and lively, the owners are warm and very welcoming The bathroom and toilets are up the first flight. 2 gents toilets and one ladies. While the toilets are snug. They have 2 bathrooms which are very spacious. The rooms are up a small flight of stairs. The rooms are quite nice. A sink in the room along with the tea and coffee facilities, single wardrobe, desk lamp and many plug sockets for all your power needs. Entering and exiting isn't through the pub so you can come and go as you please with no difficulties. The bed was a welcome surprise as it was very comfy. Only stayed the one night but a joy, great for the price and location. Also the pub itself is worth a drink with an eclectic taste in music, as a metalhead myself i thoroughly enjoyed it Flaws found. Room door locks but the wood is coming away from the frame. Needs patching /fixing. Radiator doesn't have a TRV so is on full all the time. Which means the window needs to be open which is very noisy as its on the centre. Luckily I sleep like the dead. But worth mentioning. Other than that. A delightful pub hotel. Did the job for the night and cost was as expected for what I got in a great location.
clean friendly on Budget. This is basic but private accommodation. We had a large group and a small budget so the Mill fitted the bill. The landlord is very friendly and welcoming and left us with keys and instruction and we were able to come and go. It is clean and does what it says on the tin. Recommended on a budget
